A sui generis vineyard…
Vinha do Moinho was acquired by Cristiano van Zeller in 2001. Away from the heart of Quinta Vale D. Maria, this vineyard is divided into two parts: one, facing west, and another, located on a small slope, facing south.
It is in the latter that the oldest vineyard is, with over 80 years old, and here is the birthplace of the wine with the same name. With an altitude between 260 and 305 meters, Vinha do Moinho comprises a profusion of grape varieties, predominantly Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca.
