Quinta Vale D. Maria
Porto LBV
Porto
A blend of over 25 traditional Douro grape varieties, predominantly Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca, with others such as Rufete, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Francisca, and Sousão. These grapes – the last to be harvested – come from both the old vines and the newer plantings at Quinta Vale D. Maria. Ranging in age from 10 and over 80 years, the vineyards are exposed to the south, southeast, southwest, east, and west. The LBV grapes come from the same origins as those for the Vintage, also from the estate’s vineyards, maintaining the same aromatic identity.

With a dark and intense color, this wine is composed of layers of aromas, with notes of ripe dark fruit such as plums, blackberries, and black cherries, alongside woody hints from barrel aging. On the palate, it is very balanced and persistent, with a long finish. The Quinta Vale D. Maria Porto LBV is elegant and velvety. Tasting it feels like experiencing a Vintage with some evolution already. It is an unparalleled experience for the senses.
